Photographer * Designer * Writer

I am an observer of life and a true INFJ. My fascination with photography began with my mother's Kodak 110 Instamatic camera when I was five years old.  Even at that age, my passion was centred around people based photography, captured moments of life and the human world around us. For me, it is about the vulnerabilities, coincidences, relationships, unspoken stories and beauty in what could otherwise be considered mundane until we take a closer look.

Having worked as a graphic designer, media creator and forensic photographer, I am still enthralled in the digital arts, where the limits of what is possible expands day to day at an exponential rate. At the beginning of my artistic journey, I loved getting lost in the smell of chemicals and the ambience of red light with some kicking tunes fuelling my creative juices whilst toiling in the darkroom. How far we have come.

As with most people behind the pen, I find my writing a deeply personal experience. An avenue to explore my own soul, my history, my flaws and my observations. I have included a small selection of my work on this site, ranging from poetry and observation through to short film scripts and treatments.

To me photography must suggest,

not insist or explain.

Artistic Nude

A photographer went to a socialite party in New York. As he entered the front door, the host said â€˜I love your pictures – they’re wonderful; you must have a fantastic camera.’

He said nothing until dinner was finished, then: â€˜That was a wonderful dinner; you must have a terrific stove'.
